General description
醛固酮合成酶（或18-羟化酶）是一种参与醛固酮生成的类固醇羟化酶细胞色素P450氧化酶。 该基因编码酶的细胞色素P450超家族的其中一个成员。细胞色素P450蛋白是单加氧酶，可催化许多与药物代谢以及胆固醇、类固醇和其他脂质合成有关的反应。该蛋白质定位于线粒体内膜。该酶具有类固醇18-羟化酶活性以合成醛固酮和18-氧代皮质醇以及类固醇11β-羟化酶活性。该基因的突变导致皮质酮甲基氧化酶缺乏。（Pascoe, L, et al. Application
蛋白质印迹法：识别肾上腺球状带线粒体制备物中~48kDa的条带。该酶在肾上腺球状带组织中表达**，在肾脏中几乎检测不到。
免疫组织化学： 1:50-1:200，ABC，酶法检测；克隆对石蜡包埋的STF固定组织效果**。STF可从Streck Laboratories，www.streck.com获得。 已成功报告福尔马林固定，但工作稀释度低得多（见Fujisawa等人）。 建议的复染剂是Gill′s苏木精。
免疫细胞化学：丙酮固定细胞，1:20-1:200。
ELISA
**工作稀释度必须由最终用户确定。
该抗细胞色素P450醛固酮合成酶抗体（克隆1G5）经验证可用于ELISA、IC、IH(P)、WB中对细胞色素P450醛固酮合成酶进行检测。
