General description
谷胱甘肽（GSH）的细胞渗透性衍生物，通过细胞内酯酶水解，从而增加许多组织和细胞类型中细胞内GSH的浓度。GSH-MEE的有效运输已用于保护细胞免受辐射，氧化剂和各种有毒化合物（包括重金属）的损害。一种防止细胞损伤（如白内障和线粒体变性）的保护剂。
