RORγ Activator 1b binds to the retinoid-related orphan receptor RORγ and induces IL-17 reporter gene expression with an EC₅₀ of 0.1 μM. The compound RORγ Activator 1b enhances differentiation of CD4+ T cells to IL-17-secreting cells with a maximum effect of 220 percent of control at 3 μM.
