Porcine Pulmonary Artery Smooth Muscle Cells (PPASMC) provide a useful in vitro model to study cellular and molecular mechanisms of pulmonary hypertension characterized by hyperproliferation of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells.Characterization: positive for smooth muscle cell specific alpha-actin expression.
