Biochem/physiol Actions
α-胎蛋白（AFP）可促进成胎儿和增殖中的人肝脏细胞中的脂肪酸调节。已在急性肝损伤中观察到该基因的过表达，表明活跃的肝再生。AFP与可能导致肝硬化和肝细胞癌的脂肪肝疾病（FLD）相关。它可作为HCC（肝细胞癌）的一种肿瘤标志物。
