Recombinant Human Transforming Growth Factor β 2 (TGFB2) is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. TGFB2 binds the transforming growth factor-β receptor and plays a role in regulation of cell growth and proliferation. It may be involved in mesenchymal-epithelial cell interactions during development.

Recombinant Human Transforming Growth Factor β 2 (TGFB2) specific activity is determined by its ability to inhibit the mouse IL-4 dependent proliferation of mouse HT-2 cells.
