Clone REAL1211 is an antibody fragment derived from the full 53BP1 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL1211 recognizes the human 53BP1 (tumor protein p53 binding protein 1), a Double-strand break (DSB) repair protein involved in response to DNA damage, telomere dynamics and class-switch recombination (CSR) during antibody genesis. It promotes NHEJ of dysfunctional telomeres via interaction with PAXIP1.
