Clone REAL232 is an antibody fragment derived from the full SSEA-4 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL232 recognizes the glycolipid carbohydrate epitope stage specific embryonic antigen 4 (SSEA-4). SSEA-4 is found on undifferentiated human embryonic stem (ES) cells, induced pluripotent (iPS) cells, embryonal carcinoma (EC) cells, and embryonic germ (EG) cells as well as a variety of somatic stem cells, such as dental pulp stem cells, umbilical cord blood-derived very small embryonic like stem cells (VSELs), and mesenchymal stromal cells.
The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes.
