General description
40 kDa (Bowen, 2002; Reiter, 1989; Chang, 1994)
The CD7 antigen is a membrane-bound 40 kDa glycoprotein expressed on thymocytes, mature T cells, a large majority of natural killer cells, pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells, and progenitor cells of lymphoid and myeloid cells (Bowen, 1997 & 2002; Reiter, 1989; Chang, 1994). CD7 is one of the earliest T-cell-specific antigens to be expressed in lymphocytes, and the only early marker to persist throughout differentiation (Bowen, 1997).
Application
Detect CD7 using this Milli-Mark Anti-CD7-FITC Antibody, clone CBC.37 validated for use in FC.
Physical form
Purified Mouse monoclonal IgG2b conjugated to FITC in 0.05M Tris-HCl buffer with 1% BSA, Sodium Azide at 0.097% at pH 7.2.
Analysis Note
Evaluated by flow cytometry using human PBMCs
Other Notes
Concentration: Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for the lot-specific concentration.
