General description
Protein G purified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~140-145 kDa Tie2 protein.
Recognizes the ~140-45 kDa Tie2 protein.
This Anti-Tie2 Mouse mAb (Ab33) is validated for use in Frozen Sections, Immunoblotting, Immunoprecipitation, Paraffin Sections for the detection of Tie2.
Immunogen
Human
a recombinant protein consisting of amino acids 1-745 of human Tie2 fused to a His•Tag
Application
Frozen Sections (see comments)
Immunoblotting (0.2-1 µg/ml, chemiluminescence)
Immunoprecipitation (see comments)
Paraffin Sections (not recommended)
Packaging
Please refer to vial label for lot-specific concentration.
Physical form
In 150 mM NaCl, 100 mM Tris-glycine, 30% glycerol, pH 7.4.
Preparation Note
Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-20°C).
Other Notes
For frozen sections, tissues were treated with Triton™-X-100 detergent. This antibody has also been reported to work for immunoprecipitation. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
