IgG2c codes for Igh-1b. In mice, IgG2a and IgG2c are arranged in tandem on identical chromosome as two visible loci.

Biochem/physiol Actions
Mouse IgG2c generate several unique non-bonded interactions between the BC, DE and FG loops than mIgG2b. It connects to FcγRIV (Fc γ receptor IV) with a high affinity in the complex-type glycoform. In mice, IgG2c has unique immune profiles like, response, immune-decoration, because of their difference in protein sequence.
This antibody reacts to the Fc region of mouse IgG2c. No cross reactivity with mouse IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, IgM, IgA, IgE, human IgG, or rat IgG.
