General description
Sirt2 是一种 NAD + 依赖性微管蛋白去乙酰化酶。两个 Sirt2 亚型作为选择性剪接的结果存在。Sirt2 在有丝分裂过程中过表达，并在细胞周期的 G2/M 转换时发生倍增磷酸化，表明其在细胞周期中对有丝分裂退出的控制作用。尽管 Sirt2 主要存在于细胞质中，但它在细胞周期期间富集于细胞核中，与有丝分裂结构相关。研究发现 Sirt2 是一种少突胶质细胞蛋白，通过去乙酰化 α-微管蛋白影响细胞分化。

兔多克隆抗 Sirt2 抗体可识别小鼠、大鼠 (37/43 kDa) 和人 (43 kDa) Sirt2。通过免疫印迹检测 Sirt2 条带可被免疫肽特异性抑制。
Immunogen
对应于小鼠 Sirt2 氨基酸 341-352 的合成肽，与 KLH 偶联。相应的的序列在大鼠中相同，在人 Sirt2 中相差一个氨基酸。
Application
兔多克隆抗 Sirt2 抗体可用于免疫印迹、免疫沉淀和免疫荧光等多种应用。
抗Sirt2抗体可以用于蛋白质印迹和免疫荧光分析。
Biochem/physiol Actions
Sirtuin 2（SIRT2）可维持基因组的完整性。SIRT2的抑制可提供亨廷顿′病细胞和无脊椎动物模型中的神经保护效果。SIRT2可以在体外和体内使α-微管蛋白的lys40发生脱乙酰化。通过小干扰RNA（siRNA）抑制SIRT2会导致微管蛋白过度乙酰化。
