Immunogen
Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human CCT6B
Application
Anti-CCT6B antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1μg/mL.
Biochem/physiol Actions
T-complex protein 1 subunit zeta-2 is a protein encoded by the CCT6B gene in humans. CCT6B [chaperonin containing TCP1, subunit 6B (zeta 2)] encodes a molecular chaperone that belongs to TCP-1 chaperonin family. This subunit is an integral component of TCP1 ring complex (TRiC) that plays a pivotal role in folding newly synthesized cytosolic proteins and preventing protein aggregation.
Physical form
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
