General description
Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) receptors 1 and 2, termed VPAC1 and VPAC2, are members of the 7 transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor family and they share homology, but differ in their substrate specificities and expression patterns. Both receptors bind to VIP and pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP). VPAC2 is upregulated in some carcinoma and lymphoma.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide derived from human VPAC2 protein.
