Ham F-10营养混合物支持人二倍体细胞和白细胞生长以供染色体分析，也支持大鼠、兔和鸡组织的原代外植体生长。Ham′s F12营养混合物是为支持中国仓鼠卵巢细胞(CHO)、HeLa细胞和小鼠L细胞的克隆生长而专门开发的。
