General description
B 细胞淋巴瘤 2（BCL-2）是线粒体膜整合蛋白，可作为抗细胞凋亡蛋白。是核因子kappa B（NF-kB）的靶基因。编码 BCL-2 的基因位于人染色体18q21。

Biochem/physiol Actions
BCL2是细胞凋亡调节剂，在线粒体和细胞核等亚细胞成分中表达。线粒体中的 BCL2 抑制细胞凋亡，而细胞核中的 BCL2 可能激活细胞死亡。BCL2 可能也在细胞饥饿期间，调节自噬作用 。抗 BCL-2 抗体对大鼠、人类和小鼠的内源总 BCL-2 蛋白水平具有特异性。
