Clone REAL404 is an antibody fragment derived from the full IgD antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL404 specifically recognizes the mouse immunoglobulin D (IgD) of all tested mouse haplotypes and it does not react with other immunoglobulin isotypes. IgD is an essential B cell differentiation marker and is expressed by peripheral mature B cells. The Anti-IgD antibody neither activates B cells nor induces proliferation of B cells in vitro.
For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
