Fast medium preparation
imMedia Growth Medium is fast food for E. coli. Simply mix with water in a clean flask, heat in a microwave oven, and in less than 5 minutes your medium is prepared.
The ultimate convenience
For your convenience, imMedia Growth Medium is available for preparing liquid medium or agar plates, with or without X-gal/IPTG. You have a choice of two antibiotics: ampicillin and kanamycin. imMedia Growth Medium is packaged in ready-to-use individual pouches. Each pouch contains sufficient reagents for preparing 200 mL of liquid media or 8-10 standard 100 mm2 agar plates.
Quality results
Each type of imMedia Growth Medium is extensively tested to ensure E. coli growth, antibiotic activity, and sterility. imMedia 'Blue' products (with X-gal/IPTG) are tested for efficient blue/white colony screening.
