Clone REAL382 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD5 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL382 recognizes the human CD5 antigen, a 67 kDa single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein also known as T1 or Leu-1. It is expressed on most thymocytes, the majority of peripheral T cells, a subpopulation of B cells, and B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) cells. CD5 is a receptor for the B cell antigen CD72 and plays a role in T cell activation.
The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes.
