General description
B23（也称为NPM，核仁磷酸蛋白，numatrin或NO38）是一种磷蛋白，广泛表达于所有类型的细胞中，位于与前核糖体颗粒相关的核仁的颗粒区域中。已发现该蛋白质参与多种核功能，如前核糖体颗粒的组装和/或核内转运、细胞质/核转运、DNA聚合酶A活性的调节和中心体复制。B23的磷酸化由细胞周期蛋白复合物CDK2/细胞周期蛋白E介导。
磷酸化将导致B23与中心体分离并启动细胞有丝分裂期间的中心体复制。B23还参与原骨髓细胞白血病，其中B23的基因与视黄酸受体α（RARa）融合，产生含有这两个基因的部分的融合蛋白（60-7.0kDa）。

Application
该抗体可用于ELISA、竞争性ELISA、免疫印迹（37 kDa）、免疫沉淀、免疫细胞化学（2％甲醛-丙酮1,2,5或10％福尔马林/甲醇-1％NP-40和显微注射（阻断中心体复制的启动）和免疫组织化学。经观测，该抗体与人、猴、牛、犬、仓鼠（弱）、大鼠、袋鼠和小鼠的B23具有反应性。
Biochem/physiol Actions
它能够检测磷酸化和未磷酸化的B23分子。该抗体可识别位于B23 C末端的68个氨基酸内的表位。
Physical form
溶于含有1% BSA和15 mM叠氮化钠作（pH 7.4）的 .01 M磷酸盐缓冲液。
Preparation Note
从生物反应器中的杂交瘤细胞培养物上清液中纯化获得。
