ZIC2是一种C2H2型锌指蛋白，可作为转录抑制子，调节多巴胺受体D1的组织特异性表达。ZIC2表达对于神经系统发育和神经突起生长比较重要。ZIC2可抑制胚胎发育期间Wnt/β-连环蛋白介导的信号转导。
